Sandman Sleeps brings unique, emotionally charged art rock with intricate rhythms, a touch of dream-state ’90s nostalgia, and—of course—whale sounds from the middle of nowhere. The basement-born project from sisters Alex and Cristina Peck began in 2009, taking its name from an episode of the creepy/quirky ’90s cartoon Courage the Cowardly Dog. They regrouped in 2019 with two singles—"Icy Jungle" and "Your Specter"—written a decade earlier, featuring guitarist Zack Jones and producer/drummer Tom Haller.
The band is staying busy— writing new music while consistently performing with two drummers: Joey Mason for hometown shows, and Tom Haller on DIY tours up and down the East Coast and through the Midwest
